Latrobe City International Open 

Friday 2nd March 2018 – Sunday 4th March 2018

On behalf of the Victorian Waterski Association with the Latrobe city council & the Latrobe Valley Waterski Club, we invite you to be apart of the 2018 Latrobe City International Open. In our inaugural year, we saw the top slalom skiers from around the world battle it out in a head to head format for the the 2016 title, however, in 2017, we introduced 3 individual events in 1, the slalom championship, the overall championship and the Moomba Masters LCQ.

The Slalom Championship

In this event, the top 10 men will battle it out for the 2018 title. Each competitor will ski 2 rounds with a seeding 1st round and a reverse seeded FINAL.

Skiers MUST complete their intent to enter to be considered for the event.

The IWWF world ranking list will determine the invited skiers in the slalom championship.

Any competitor competing in the slalom championship is ineligible to compete in the LCQ slalom event.

The Overall Championship

In this event, the top 3 men and top 3 women will compete in 2 rounds of each event with the best score of either round being used to calculate their overall score.

Skiers MUST complete their intent to enter to be considered for the event.

The IWWF world ranking list will determine the invited skiers in the slalom championship.

Any competitor competing in the slalom championship is ineligible to compete in the LCQ slalom event.

The Moomba Masters LCQ

In this event, any skier not competing in the above events will be eligible to ski in the last chance qualifier. The event is open to all Open rated skiers and junior skiers (U18) however, competitors requiring a score for the 2017 Moomba Masters will have preference for this event.

All successful entrants will be notified via email. Selection will be based on the Latest IWWF ranking list for International entrants. If an entrant is ineligible and does not meet the selection criteria, a refund less administration fee will be given.
