The Victorian Water Ski Association are both proud and honored to continue to present the Moomba Masters, bringing world acclaimed athletes and officials to participate and compete in various disciplines of water skiing activities. Held annually in March, in the heart of Melbourne on the Yarra River. Over 5 days and nights the event brings spectators and overseas visitors in their thousands, to witness these competitions in conjunction with the Melbourne Moomba Festival.

Three event competitions Tournament (Trick, Slalom & Jump) and Wakeboarding will see competitors ski exclusively behind the Nautique ski tow boat, with wakeboard competitors behind the Nautique, all this helps to create the magic which is the Moomba Masters.

The Moomba Masters kicks off, with the Junior Moomba Invitational for two days of competition .
Followed by the Moomba Masters and Wakeboard Invitational Championships and Water Ski promotions.

The Moomba Masters is acknowledged throughout the World Water Ski Federations.

• If you are arriving by car, please enter via Car Park F from Dandenong Road to access our
Hotel’s car park.
• Secure self-parking is at $40 per vehicle, per day.
• If you are using GoogleMaps, it will instruct you to drive to the hotel’s main entrance. This
entrance is for Valet Parking and the car park is not accessible via this driveway. Please enter
“Chadstone Shopping Centre Car Park F” instead.

The Victorian Water Ski Association, in association with our organizing committee and sponsors are proudly presenting the 65th Nautique Moomba Masters International Invitational presented by GM Marine in 2026. The event is scheduled to commence on Thursday 5th March to Monday 9th March 2026.

All Tournament Skiers & Wakeboarders wishing to participate in the 2026 Event must complete the entry form & provide payment in full for each event via: https://www.trybooking.com/events/landing/1491552

Entries for all events will close on the 28th of January 2026. Invitations for skiers/riders that are selected to participate from the entries received in each event will be distributed in the 1st week of February 2026

If your entry is unsuccessful, a Full Refund (less booking fee) will be given. If you withdraw from the event after Invitations have been distributed without a legitimate reason, NO Refund will be provided (Organizers Discretion)

The 2026 Nautique Moomba Masters Presented by GM Marine is excited to introduce a new division and ages changes for the Junior events for 2026. The Juniors will consist of under 17 and Under 21.

Under 17 Moomba Master Age Requirement: 16 years of age as of December 31st 2025 As Per World Rules

Under 21 Moomba Masters Age Requirement: 20 years of age as of December 31st 2025 As Per World Rules

Note: U17 or U21 skiers can only compete in 1 age division, but may also enter the Open Division

Please ensure each individual competitor completes an intent to enter form.

Official Dates: Under 17/Under 21 on the 5th & 6th March and Open 7th to the 9th of March 2026

Official Event times will be advised via the Moomba Masters Web Site, Facebook & Instagram once confirmed

There will be a briefing for ALL skiers/riders: Juniors: To Be Confirmed

Open: Friday 6th March at 5:00pm On Site

Attention- RULES HAVE BEEN UPDATED, IT IS THE COMPETITORS RESPONSIBILITY TO BE CONVERSANT WITH THE ORGANIZERS/PRESENTERS RULES being the Victorian Water Ski

The Nautique Moomba Masters International Invitational presented by GM Marine is proud to announce that it will now be included as a stop in the upcoming Nautique Water Ski World Series in 2027.

This five stop, three-event water ski series awards points for placement at each individual tournament and serves as the primary qualifying series for an invitation to the sport’s most illustrious event: The Nautique Masters Water Ski & Wakeboard Tournament®, presented by GM Marine.
