Dear Water Ski and Wakeboard Followers,

What a weekend! Hailstorms, incessant rain, swollen river and debris made the running of the 50th Anniversary Moomba Masters one of the most challenging events ever.

However, nothing Mother Nature could throw at Melbourne could deter us from delivering one of the most drama-filled, high intensity water sports spectacles ever.

Congratulations to all of the winners from Junior Moomba through to the Moomba Masters, and to all athletes who put their bodies on the line on the Yarra River. There were some fantastic stories from the event, and the crowd was treated to some amazing performance in difficult conditions.
