URGENT NEWS: Quarantine Info for Arrival Into Australia - DRY YOUR GEAR

We received an important alert from Australian Quarantine as per below - please read carefully:

As a requirement to come into Australia, all equipment that has been in contact with "Fresh Water" needs to be inspected. As there is a fresh water diease in some countries called "Didymo" it is a requirement that all equipment is "Completely Dry". No equipment can even be damp, it must be thoroughly dry, if not it will require mandatory treatment at the passenger's expense. This could take several weeks to treat.

Please make sure everything is "TOTALLY DRY" not at all damp, otherwise competitors may face not having equipment in time for the event. If people require further information www.aqis.gov.au can assist you. Once in this website you need to look under "ICON" conditions, and type in "fresh water articles".

PLEASE JUST MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS DRY, ROPES , SKI BOOTS, WET SUITS ANYTHING THAT CAN RETAIN WATER OR MOISTURE.
