The good, the bad, the ugly - Sunday at the 50th Anniversary Moomba Masters

It was a day of ups and downs after the horror weather conditions from Saturday. The highlights were some incredible performances in Mens Slalom, where top seed American Chris Parrish came so close to running the difficult 10.75m pass in excellent conditions. He leads an exceptional field into today's final, including Junior Moomba slalom champ Zane Nicholson who excelled to make the Mens Final.

In the Womens Tricks, world record holder Natallia Berdnikava from Belarus was all class in the semi final, but she's got her work cut out today fending off no less than FOUR Australians in the final. Michale Briant is close behind in second and Cathryn Humphrey sitting third.

In the Mens Tricks, junior Aussie competitors Josh Briant and Tim Bradstreet have joined the big boys in the Mens Final with some exceptional performances. Tim's sitting third and Josh fifth, with Moomba debutante Adam Sedlmajer from the Czech Republic on top for th final. World overall champ Javier Julio from Argentina had a fall but did enough to scrape into the final.

The Mens Jumpers FINALLY got a shot at the Yarra yesterday afternoon, flying high and throwing out some brilliant jumps. No major upsets with world record holder Freddy Krueger (USA) punching out a huge 66.7m effort to lead the field from Damien Sharman (GBR) and Scot Ellis (USA) third. Young supertalent from the USA, Zack Worden, had a huge out-the-front crash on his opening jump but bounced back (literally) to make the final.

Natallia Berdnikava continued her excellent first Moomba Masters performance, leading the Womens Jump Semi Final.

Unfortunately the rain came in heavy and hard, cancelling the Night Jump and throwing the schedule into disarray. It didn't stop the Victorian Ski Show from getting out there and performing.

All the finals on today, here's hoping the gods are kind for the 50th Anniversary Moomba Masters. Get down to the river.

All the results up here.

Live updates from the banks of the Yarra here.
