The women’s slalom final will see Emma Sheers as the highest seed, after being absent for a few years due to injury and the birth of her baby. Sheers was at home on the Yarra running 4 ½ at 11.25 nudging out last years winner Karen Truelove who ran 3 at 11.25.

Equaling Truelove was April Coble Eller who also ran 3 at 11.25, also contesting the women’s slalom
event trying to take out the Moomba title will be Anais Amade from France who ran 2 at 11.25. The final
two spots see Jaime Metcalfe 2 at 11.25 from New Zealand and Australia’s own Karina Nowlan 3 at 12.
The men’s final will be absent of the current world champion Thomas Degasperi who was a surprise exit in the first round, but there is a strong line up of men contesting the slalom final.

Running 1 ½ at 10.25 see’s Will Asher last off the dock in the final as the top seed, Chris Parrish has
been consistent during the event running 2 ½ at 10.75 in the second round.

Six remaining skiers in the slalom final as former Moomba Winner Marcus Brown running 2 at 10.75,
Jason Seels 1 ½ at 10.75, Javier Julio 1 at 10.75, last years winner Jodi Fisher 5 ½ at 11.25.

Final two spots and first off the dock will be Joel Wing from Australia 4 ½ at 11.25 and Aaron Larkin 5 at
11.25.

The women’s slalom final takes place at 12pm followed by the men at 12.45pm Skiers will be available for interview from 7th March to arrange times and skiers please contact Michelle Kelcey Media Director of Autobarn Moomba Master Water Ski Event on 0415 955 043.
