Ranking Lists Press Release

RANKING LISTS The draft world ranking Lists for Oct 07 have now been published on the IWSF web site. http://www.iwsf.com. As you are all aware we use this current list along with the Elite ranking list to qualify athletes for Moomba. It is recommended that Elite skiers use the 30 days draft period to check for errors before the rankings become official. The final pre-registration list will be removed from the web site at 5pm today Australian EST.

The final field will be announced and posted on the official Moomba Masters web site on 5th February 2008. Athletes who do not qualify through rankings lists can be kept up to date prior to the 5th February on their qualifying status via emailing grant.barnett@moombamasters.com.au  

PRIZE POOL President Max Kirwan and the Victorian Water Ski Association are pleased to announce the total prize pool for the 2008 Moomba Masters will be A$120,000. Event breakdowns for men and women will be emailed to invited athletes on the 5th February.

CONGRATULATIONS The entire Moomba Masters team would like to congratulate Jaret Llewellyn and Clementine Lucine on their recent selection as 2007 IWSF Male and Female Athletes of the year. Both Jaret and Clementine are former Moomba champions and will be skiing at the Moomba Masters in March. Well done Clem & Jez!!
